Aahsan leads the NHSPS Town Planning team, utilising his extensive experience of managing teams within planning consultancy, local government and client-side roles. He is a dual qualified chartered town planner (MRTPI) and chartered surveyor (MRICS), with a proven track record of securing planning permission for a wide range of complex and sensitive major development projects.

He has significant experience in acting as an expert witness at public inquiries and in producing robust development viability appraisals to successfully negotiate S106 contributions. He also regularly features as a key speaker at seminars and training events requiring an expert in the field of town planning and development viability.

Aahsan's contribution to NHS Property Services is key as we take a more strategic approach to the NHS estate, leveraging our town planning expertise to maximise value before selling surplus sites and in delivering new development projects, which help to maximise funding available for the optimisation of the NHS estate.
