NHS Open Space adds more flexible spaces to booking platform
NHS Open Space, developed by NHS Property Services (NHSPS), has expanded its flexible booking of NHS space across the NHS estate – offering communities a wide range of services from their local NHS hubs.
As NHS Open Space grows and welcomes new spaces nationwide, a wider range of services can use our flexible booking system to expand, work across multiple locations, and tackle the elective care backlog – optimising the NHS estate to deliver excellent patient care.
Christopher King, Principal Strategic Asset Manager at NHSPS commented: "We have seen more than 1,559,066 hours of care provided to patients across England with the NHS Open Space platform, showing just how vital a range of services are to local communities. From counselling and physiotherapy to vaccine administration, we hope to enable excellent patient care and deliver on the Long-Term Plan through our spaces."
